This vessel has been coiled and has a black rough glaze on the inside.
The exterior glaze on this piece is my representation of brain coral and polyps. This glazes blisters and separates creating an unusual finish, embracing all the fissures and cracks.
All of my pieces are unique pieces of art.
Stoneware black clay, high fired.
Measurements approx (H21.5cm x W13cm)
Care instructions: Please take care when handling this product. The blisters can occasionally burst, this is the effect of the glaze. If this happens, all it needs is a little light sanding by hand to remove any sharp edges.
